About the Wirral Business Awards
Wirral Chamber of Commerce and Mills Media Creative have worked together on the Wirral Business Awards for over 14 years.
In 2018, both organisations sat down and agreed a re-design of the event with Mills Media Creative doing what they do best – managing the full event and creative production and the Chamber promoting the event to their members, co-ordinating the judging process and presenting the Award for ‘Outstanding Business of the Year’.
The Wirral Business Awards is one of the largest business events in the North West. It is now established as a primary celebration of best practice and the positive impact our businesses make on the national and international economy.
So what’s new?
The event is growing! Not only are there new and exciting categories to enter, we’ve also decided to make the event less formal and more relaxed. Dress code will be black tie and there’ll be greater opportunity to mix, mingle and celebrate with fellow guests, nominees and winners!
This year, the show moves to a new venue. The 2020 Awards will take place on 5th June at New Brighton Floral Pavilion – the ideal location to celebrate the very best of our local, national and international success stories. The full capacity of the Floral will be available with a new OSCAR style ceremony hosted in the auditorium, and food, drink and dancing in the Blue Lounge.
Expect a night to remember!

Mills Media Creative is delighted to announce that we will be raising money for The Clatterbridge Cancer Charity at the Wirral Business Awards this year. There will be a raffle on the night, so make sure you get your tickets to win one of many amazing prizes supplied by our wonderful local Wirral businesses.
While one in two UK people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime, it’s a tough reality that in Merseyside & Cheshire, the number of deaths from cancer is 20 percent higher than the national average.
The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre is one of the country’s leading cancer hospitals; operating across 18 sites for the people of Merseyside, Cheshire and the Isle of Man. In 2020, we’ll be investing in the Wirral centre to ensure we build the best possible future for cancer care in our area, and you can help us to get there.
The Clatterbridge Cancer Charity is the only charity dedicated to patients and research at The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre. By choosing to support the charity, you will not only help to improve patient experience, fund vital research, and invest in the latest therapies, but our plans to transform cancer care would not be possible without the amazing people who support our charity.
Expanding the services of The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre into the heart of the population we serve will mean better access to treatment, a huge leap forward in our research programme and more life-saving clinical trials, which we hope will save an extra 700 lives each year. You can be part of it.
